1.3 Communications

Messages sent through our encrypted chat system are stored in encrypted form using AES-256-CBC encryption. We do not read your messages.

• Enforce same-nukh restrictions to protect community norms

3. Surakshit Profile Privacy

Profiles marked as Surakshit (protected) have their photographs and full name hidden from other users until a connection is accepted. We enforce this at the data layer — not just the UI — so hidden information is never transmitted to unauthorized parties.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Other users: Only the profile information you choose to make visible, as governed by your privacy settings and Surakshit status.
• Service providers: Trusted third parties who assist us in operating our platform (cloud hosting, push notifications, analytics) — all bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal authorities: When required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• AES-256-CBC encryption for all chat messages
• HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit
• Sanctum token-based authentication
• Regular security reviews and access controls
