Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Brahmkshatriya Jeevansathi platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading the app, or using any part of the Brahmkshatriya Jeevansathi platform ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age (female) or 21 years of age (male) to create a matrimonial profile.
• You must be a member of the Brahmkshatriya Khatri Samaj community.
• You must be legally eligible to marry under the laws of India.
• You may not create more than 5 profiles on a single account.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, current, and complete information on your profile.
• Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.

4. Same-Nukh (Gotra) Restriction

In accordance with Brahmkshatriya Khatri community customs, users sharing the same Nukh (gotra) are prohibited from initiating connections or proposals with each other. This restriction is enforced at all levels of the platform — UI, API, AI scoring, and connection logic. Attempting to circumvent this restriction may result in immediate account termination.

5. Profile Content

You agree that your profile content:

• Is accurate and represents you truthfully
• Does not impersonate any person or entity
• Does not contain offensive, obscene, or inappropriate material
• Does not include contact details (phone, email, social media) in free-text fields until a connection is established
• Does not promote commercial services or illegal activities

We reserve the right to reject, modify, or remove any profile content that violates these guidelines.

6. Profile Approval

All profiles are subject to review and approval by our admin team before becoming visible in search results. We may approve, reject, or request modifications to any profile at our discretion.

7. Messaging & Communications

The Platform provides an encrypted messaging system for communication between connected users. You agree not to use the messaging system to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Solicit money or financial information
• Share inappropriate or explicit content
• Spam or send unsolicited messages

8. Surakshit Profiles

The Surakshit feature allows female users to hide their photo and full name until they accept a connection request. Users must respect this privacy feature. Attempting to obtain hidden information through any means other than an accepted connection constitutes a violation of these terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are the exclusive property of Brahmkshatriya Jeevansathi and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not verify the authenticity of every claim made by users on their profiles and are not responsible for any consequences arising from interactions with other users.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brahmkshatriya Jeevansathi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Platform.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise detrimental to the Platform or community.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification.
